    The impact of the financial crisis on social media spending may depend upon what social media is addressing at any given point. Since SM can be applied to a wide variety of purposes and subjects, I am not sure that there is one general, definitive answer here.

    Great point; though I do think that there may be a macro-level spending trend that may impact the entire industry.

    Its going to be all about cutting costs. The ROI is important but right now Social media is the cheapest thing going (that unfortunately is the perception) so I doubt its going to get cut.

    A career in financial planning is still lucrative despite the worldwide financial crunch. As long as money is used in our economy financial planners will be needed. You have to pay your dues to become a financial planner but once you pass the test and prove your mettle, you can expect a handsome return for your efforts.
