In various roles, at a number of start ups and large organizations, I have focused on leading and executing an online strategy to meet (and hopefully exceed) business goals for organizations.  Along the way I have always drawn inspiration from architecture.  If you think about the problems that architects are trying to solve in various buildings (getting people into a building, getting them to stay, spend money), they are the same as web strategists.  Today with social media, the lessons from architecture are even more accurate.

This blog will examine what we can learn from architecture as well as discuss sites that implement the principals.  I look forward to the conversation.
